What is bamboo salt?
Korean monks once refined salt by packing it into bamboo stalks and firing it in a pine-wood kiln, raising the heat in stages. Depending on its intended use, bamboo salt is roasted anywhere from one to nine times. That traditional Korean ingredient is at the heart of the Bamboo Forest bar.
